This isn't a sightseeing flight where you watch from the window. It's your first real aviation lesson. Under the guidance of an experienced instructor you'll feel what it's like when the aircraft responds to your hands.

You're not a passenger — you're the co-pilot. The instructor guides you through everything from the checklist to landing, but up there the yoke is yours. Adrenaline, responsibility and total freedom.

What's the difference

Passenger vs. co-pilot

If you were looking at our sightseeing flights, you're in a similar place. But the Trial Introductory Flight is a completely different experience — you sit up front, you have your own yoke, you fly.

  • You sit in the back or beside the pilot, watching from the window.
  • The pilot flies you. Your hands stay in your lap.
  • Focused on the view and photos.
  • Price is for the whole aircraft — up to 3 passengers.

Co-pilot

  • You sit up front next to the instructor — in the cockpit.
  • You have your own yoke. Most of the flight is yours.
  • Briefing, navigation, manoeuvres, debriefing — like a pilot.
  • Price is per flight hour, not per passenger.

Three phases, two hours, one experience

The atmosphere of an airfield from briefing to hangar. No rushing — everything runs at your pace.

01 Phase 01 · 30 min

Pre-flight briefing

We meet in the classroom. We go through meteorology, route, instruments and safety procedures. No unnecessary theory — just what matters for your flight.

02 Phase 02 · 60 min

Flight with the instructor

The instructor performs the take-off. At a safe altitude they hand you the controls. You learn to hold altitude, turn and coordinate the flight. You fly, we guarantee safety.

03 Phase 03 · 30 min

Post-flight debrief

After landing we go through your flight. We discuss your feel for the aircraft and answer any questions about the PPL licence. A photo with the aircraft is included.

  • Age & weightMinimum age 15 (under 18 with parental consent). Max. weight 110 kg.
  • ArrivalPlease arrive 15–20 minutes before your scheduled briefing.
  • ClothingThe cabin is heated. Comfortable clothes and closed shoes recommended.

Frequently asked questions

FAQ

Do I need any flying experience?
Not at all. The trial flight is designed exactly for people who have never touched a yoke. The instructor takes you through everything from the checklist to landing — you learn as you fly.
What happens if the weather is bad?
Safety always comes first. If the weather doesn't allow the flight, we reschedule free of charge — usually within a week. The pilot has the final say and makes the call on the morning of the flight after checking the forecast.
Who actually flies the aircraft?
A licensed instructor handles both take-off and landing. Once airborne they hand you the controls and you actively fly. Depending on the mission you fly 20–90 % of the flight. The instructor sits next to you with their own yoke and can take over instantly.
Can I bring a camera, GoPro or phone?
Yes, of course. You don't need any external mounts on the aircraft — a hand-held camera is enough. We'll give you tips on when and where to record for the best shots.
Can I bring family or witnesses?
Yes — companions are welcome at the airfield and can photograph or film you by the aircraft. Only you and the instructor fit in the cockpit, so the instructor can fully focus on you.
What if I love it and want to continue?
Excellent! The cost of your trial flight is credited towards any future PPL training. Get in touch — we'll put together a follow-on plan at your own pace.
