Your Career in Aviation Starts Here

Are you ready to turn your passion for aviation into a career? The Commercial Pilot Licence  is your gateway to flying professionally. This licence allows you to be compensated for flying, qualifying you to act as a Pilot in Command on commercial flights or as a co-pilot in multi-pilot aircraft.

The CPL course builds upon the skills you mastered during your PPL and Instrument Rating training. It focuses on developing a superior understanding of aircraft systems, advanced maneuvers, and the high standard of airmanship required by the aviation industry.

Why Build Your Career with Us

Training takes place in a professional environment where you learn procedures used at larger airports. The program includes modern aircraft and advanced exercises to support your next steps. You can progress at your own pace and build on your previous experience.

Professional Thinking

You will move beyond the hobby approach. Learn to think like a Captain and make decisions with maximum responsibility.

Career Gateway

CPL is the key qualification for transitioning to larger aircraft and starting Multi-Crew Cooperation training.

Total Control

Intensive training and advanced maneuvers on a complex aircraft will give you confidence in any flight situation.

Personalized Training

Experienced instructors will create an optimal modular plan that respects your time constraints and career goals.

How it works?

For pilots who already hold a PPL(A), the modular CPL course is the most flexible route to a professional licence. The journey consists of three main stages:

Theoretical Knowledge

This is the most demanding stage of your  training. Before the CPL skills test, you must complete all required ATPL(A) theory exams at the Civil Aviation Authority. The ground school covers advanced subjects at the same level expected of airline pilots.

Flight Hour Building

To obtain your CPL, EASA requires you to have a solid foundation of experience. You must log a total of 200 hours of flight time. This „hour building“ phase is where you sharpen your skills as PIC, especially in cross-country navigation, after completing your PPL.

Practical Flight Module

Once you have passed your ATPL theory and logged at least 150 flight hours, you begin the practical CPL course. This is a flight training module of at least 25 hours (or 15 hours if you already hold an Instrument Rating) focused purely on professional skills.

What to Expect in the Practical Module

This phase of training is focused on mastering the aircraft to a professional standard.

  • Advanced Maneuvers: You will master advanced maneuvers like chandelles, lazy eights, and steep turns with high precision.

  • Emergency Procedures: You will undergo intensive training on handling complex emergencies beyond the scope of PPL training.

  • Complex Aircraft: You will complete at least 5 flight hours on a „complex“ aircraft to learn to manage systems like a variable pitch propeller and retractable landing gear.

The entire practical course concludes with a skills test conducted by a CAA appointed examiner.

EASA Entry Requirements

To start the practical CPL(A) flight module, you must:

  • Hold a valid PPL(A) licence.

  • Be at least 18 years old.

  • Hold a valid EASA Class 1 Medical Certificate. (This is a higher standard than the Class 2 required for PPL).

  • Have passed all 13 ATPL(A) or CPL(A) theory exams.

  • Have logged at least 150 hours of total flight time.

Note: To be issued the final CPL(A) licence, you must have completed a total of 200 hours of flight time, including specific PIC and cross-country requirements.
