Schedule a Consultation

Are you ready to turn your dream of flying into reality? The Private Pilot Licence is the fundamental qualification for every pilot. Whether your goal is to fly recreationally with friends and family or you aspire to a professional career in the cockpit of an airliner, this is where it all begins.

The PPL qualifies you to act as Pilot in Command  on single-engine aircraft under Visual Flight Rules. Unlike basic recreational permits, this is an internationally recognized licence that allows you to fly passengers, rent aircraft worldwide, and serves as the essential prerequisite for further professional ratings like Night, Instrument, and Commercial flying.

Why Train with Us?

  • The Cessna 172 You will train on the Cessna 172, the safest and most widely used training aircraft in history. Its stability and forgiving characteristics make it the perfect classroom for your first hours in the air.
  • Safety & Standards We go beyond the minimum requirements. Our instructors focus on decision-making and emergency management, giving you the confidence to handle any situation.
  • Flexible Schedule We understand that you have other commitments. Whether you want to fly intensively or pace your training over weekends, we will create a modular plan that fits your life.

How the Training Works

The Flight Training

his is the core of the course. The EASA syllabus requires a minimum of 45 flight hours. The training is divided into three distinct phases:

  • Phase 1: Basic handling, take-offs, landings, and emergency procedures.

  • Phase 2: First solo flights and circuit training.

  • Phase 3: Navigation and cross-country flying to other airports.

What To Expect In The Practical Module

The flight training is designed to take you from a complete beginner to a confident captain.

Dual Instruction The majority of your time will be spent with an instructor who will teach you aircraft handling, stall recovery, and how to land smoothly.

The First Solo A milestone you will never forget. Once you are ready, your instructor will step out, and you will take off, fly a circuit, and land the aircraft entirely on your own. You must complete at least 10 hours of solo flight time.

Cross-Country Navigation You will learn to plan and execute flights to distant airports using visual references and radio navigation. The course culminates in a „Qualifying Cross-Country“ solo flight of at least 270 km (150 NM) with landings at two different airports.

Skill Test The final step is a practical exam with a CAA-appointed examiner, where you demonstrate your ability to safely operate the aircraft.

Entry Requirements

  • Minimum Age: At least 16 years old to start training, and 17 years old to be issued the licence.

  • Medical Fitness: You must hold a valid EASA Class 2 Medical Certificate before your first solo flight. This medical exam is conducted by an authorized Aero-Medical Examiner (AME).

How long does it take? The duration depends entirely on your availability and the weather. With an intensive schedule, the course can be completed in as little as 2-3 months. The average time for students flying on weekends is typically 4-6 months.
